The Netherton Community Grocery is now open and helping to bring down the cost of the weekly shop for the people of Netherton.

Peter Dowd visited recently to see first hand the excellent work the team are doing to support individuals and families in the area to bring down the cost of there shopping bill.

Peter Dowd MP said: “It was great to have the opportunity to visit the community grocery in Netherton recently and meet the dedicated team who make it all happen. As lockdown has eased, life for many families has not got easier, in fact for many it has got a lot harder. This is why community groceries like this one in Netherton are important and by visiting I seen how the team have been playing a vital role in providing supermarket food for a fraction of the price.”
