About Peter

I have been involved in our community for over 40 years in various public roles within the Council, Fire and Rescue Service, NHS and Education and Social Care Services.

My roots are deep within our local communities and I intend them to remain that way. I believe that my experiences of working across various public bodies, the voluntary, charity and faith sectors, as well as links with trade unions and the business sector, have given me an insight into the pressures, challenges and issues affecting our people and our communities.

My role is to be a champion and voice for our communities in Westminster.
