British Gas Fire and Rehire

I’m standing in solidarity with British Gas workers who are taking a stand against the disgraceful fire and rehire tactics.

Boris Johnson said that fire and rehire was unacceptable, but he’s done nothing about it and his government has been sitting on the report into it since 17th February. What’s happening to GMB Union members at British Gas shows that the law must be changed.

GMB members at British Gas are not just standing up for themselves, but for all workers who could be subjected to fire and rehire threats. It’s time for the government to act and outlaw this terrible practice.
