Kings Lander Primary School Breakfast Club

It was a privilege to be invited to attend the Kings Lander Primary School Breakfast Club and meet with their fantastic students who were starting their day with their friends with a hearty breakfast.

Kings Lander Primary School offers a free, extended one-hour Breakfast Club every morning to all pupils.

The Governments new free breakfast club initiative provides schools with support to expand their breakfast offering, ensuring more children start their day with a nutritious meal.

In Partnership with the Government, Morrisons Supermarkets are offering each participating school a free anytime Morrisons delivery pass, worth up to £70. This will allow them to save up to £153 in delivery costs over the course of a year and help them to conveniently and consistently provide healthy breakfasts to pupils.

Half a million more children nationwide will benefit from Best Start free breakfast clubs from April, as Peter Dowd MP for Bootle has called on local schools to sign up.
