Supporting People with Complex Disabilities
I recently met with complex disabilities charity Sense at the Labour Party Conference. I spoke with members of the team to hear about ways to ensure those with complex disabilities are included and not left out.
I am therefore happy to announce that I will now be including Alt Text in my online posts to ensure those with visual impairments can easily access content.
Alt text allows you to describe images to help the person paint a mental picture of the image. This allows those with screen-readers to read out loud what is happening in the image.
