Retinoblastoma Awareness Week

One child a week in the UK is diagnosed with retinoblastoma, a rare form of aggressive eye cancer which affects babies and young children under the age of six. However, low awareness of the signs and symptoms among parents and healthcare professionals means that many families experience potentially devastating delays in diagnosis, and around a half of children lose an eye to save their life.
