This week I introduced a new Bill in Parliament to reduce the maximum weekly hours from 48 to 32, with no loss of pay.

The current model no longer reflects the needs of the modern world.

Recent trials have shown additional leisure time makes for a more productive workforce and also gives people the opportunity to bolster local economies by having more time to spend money.

British workers are fed up with long working hours and low wages. It’s no way to live, but change is coming – and politicians should do all we can to help facilitate it.
