Access to Dentists Bill

I have been contacted by my constituents and Bootle dental practices alike to raise their concerns about the current state of dental services in our country.

Cuts of 25% from successive Tory Governments has left up to 91% people (and 80% of children) unable to access dental services.

Moreover, the lack of support for NHS dentists has led to 87% reporting stress, anxiety and burnout. Many are considering early retirement, going private and up to half are considering a change in career altogether.

Both my constituents and dentists have had enough. The Government should stop its excuses and pull its finger out.
