Response to Coronavirus
As the Member of Parliament for Bootle, I am working with the council to make sure residents across the constituency are supported.
An online form has been created for residents to pledge their support for local communities, helping to make sure Sefton's most vulnerable residents have access to things like essential food and medical supplies, as well as somebody to keep in touch with during any periods of self isolation.
Once residents have completed the online form, Sefton Council will signpost them to the charities and community groups in their area so they can do their bit to tackle COVID-19. Click on the link to sign up now: https://www.sefton.gov.uk/miscellaneous-pages/volunteering-during-covid-19.aspx.
If you have started your own group or are already volunteering for something in your community, you could still complete the form to help understand what is happening in different areas.
Anyone else in Sefton who feels they need extra support during this time can contact our contact the council for more information here: https://www.sefton.gov.uk/miscellaneous-pages/support-during-covid-19.aspx.
